Cement Raw Material Production

The mode of operation for Cement Plants is generally based on kiln-drying of the required materials in adequate amounts in furnaces and their marketing as clinker or cement products on the market based on demand trends. Koseoglu Corporate Group performs the management of internal procedure necessary for raw materials, clinker and cement additives required by cement plants.

Raw material production comprises drilling, blasting, waste removal, excavation and transportation of high and low silicate limestone and clay materials from particular sites and crusher feeding.

Silica quality of the materials is determined by the plant’s laboratory by analyzing the samples gathered from each blast-hole. Production and transportation of the materials are regulated in accordance with the required silica content of the materials.

Loading and hauling of materials like; remnants, gypsum, cinder, clinker, lime, marl, steam coal, bauxite, hematite and trass that are stocked by the plant or materials provided from other sites, to appointed unit’s crusher feeders  are the principal interior material movement operations.

 Apart from described duties our Group takes on the responsibility of design and construction works of main and auxiliary access roads, organization of transportation safety precautions, arrangements of stock sites, infrastructure works for new facilities and re-sizing of coarse materials by hydraulic breaker.
